1. The service

VBANKING is a digital money account operated by Kaloo Technologies in Zambia. It lets you hold a Zambian kwacha balance, add money by mobile money or card, transfer to other VBANKING accounts or mobile money wallets, and set money aside in pockets.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older and provide a mobile number registered in your name. You are responsible for keeping your password and transaction PIN secret. Tell us immediately if you believe either has been compromised.

3. Fees and limits

Fees are shown before you confirm any transaction. Daily and per-transaction limits apply and may change; the current values are always shown in the app.

4. Payments

Deposits are credited once confirmed by the mobile network or card processor. A deposit that is never confirmed is cancelled and no money is taken from you. Transfers to mobile money wallets are final once the network accepts them.

5. Restrictions

We may restrict or close an account used for fraud, money laundering or any unlawful activity, and may hold funds while a transaction is investigated.

6. Liability

We are not liable for losses caused by you sharing your PIN or password, by mobile network outages, or by errors in details you enter (such as a wrong recipient number).
